Mixture preparation

WARNING

INFORMATION

The preparation of the spray mixture can be done in the designated mixing area or directly in the field.


  1. Make sure the pump is switched off.

  1. Fill the water tank with clean water, using the volume required to prepare a spray mixture for the entire treatment.

  1. Add 50 L | 13.2 US gal of additional clean water for the final rinsing.


  1. Add 15 L | 4 US gal of clean water to the hand-wash tank in case of skin contact with products.

  1. Wear the necessary PPE for handling products.

  1. Position the valves in Mixture Prep : 1. Filling & Pre-mixing position mode.

  1. Reset the flow meter.

The quantity is measured by the flow meter.

  1. Open the L1 lever.

  2. Start the pump and transfer clean water to the spray mixture tank by opening the L1 lever on the induction hopper.

  1. Transfer approximately 5 L | 1.3 US gal of clean water to the induction hopper tank by opening the L2 lever.

The induction hopper tank lid must be closed during the operation.

  1. Open the lid and add the required amount of product for the spray mixture into the induction hopper tank.

If the product container is completely emptied, rinsing of the container is necessary.

  1. Position the container’s outlet on the rinsing nozzle inside the induction hopper tank by inserting it as much as possible into the container.

  2. Hold the container firmly and activate the rinsing by opening the L4 lever. The operation must last at least 15 seconds and must be repeated three times.

  3. Once rinsed, close the L4 lever, remove the empty container, and close the induction hopper lid.

  1. Close the lid and open the yellow L2 lever to transfer the quantity of clean water required for premixing into the induction hopper.

  1. Position the induction hopper transfer valve T to OPEN and open the L1 lever to transfer the premix to the spray mixture tank. If necessary, open L3 lever to activate the anti-clogging nozzle.

  1. When the induction hopper tank is completely empty, open all L1, L2, L3 and L4 levers to rinse the induction hopper tank thoroughly with clean water.

The operation must last at least 30 seconds.

  1. Once the rinsing of the induction hopper tank is completed, close the L2, L3, and L4 levers, then wait for the induction hopper tank to empty completely.

  2. Position the induction hopper transfer valve T to CLOSE.

  3. Once the spray mixture tank is filled with the correct amount of mixture, close the L1 lever on the induction hopper.

  4. Set the valves in Mixture Prep: 2. Full Mixture Agitation position mode and agitate the mixture for 10 minutes in both zones (Agitation).

  5. Turn off the pump.
