Cleaning in a leak tight area
WARNING
-
Comply with all local, state/provincial, and federal/national requirements applicable to the waste disposal of any spray liquid residues or leftover chemicals.
-
Comply with all local road laws when transporting or moving the machine on public roads.
INFORMATION
-
The watertight area must be connected to an active slurry tank or treatment system.
-
Use suitable containers to collect the spray liquid residues.
Before moving to a watertight site
-
Make sure the pump is switched off.
-
Set the valves in Cleaning Tank System position mode.
INFORMATION
Do not use this 3D illustration as reference. Refer to the blue position modes table.
-
Start the pump and run for 2 minutes.
-
Stop the pump.
-
Set the valves in Spraying position mode.
-
Start the pump and run for 1 minute.
-
Stop the pump.
-
Set the valves in Cleaning Spraying System position mode.
-
Start the pump.
-
On the app, activate Flushing mode and spray in a safe, non-sensitive area for 2 minutes.
-
Before moving to a watertight site, follow the following procedure (Checks before road transport).
On a watertight site
-
Make sure the pump is turned off.
-
Connect the spray mixture tank to the collecting system via the drain connection on the bottom of the tank.
-
Open the drain valve and drain off any residual spray mixture.
-
Close the drain valve when the spray mixture tank is empty.
-
Set the valves in Cleaning Mixer position mode.
-
Open the L1 lever of the mixer.
-
Start the pump and circulate 20 L | 5.2 US gal of water.
-
Stop the pump.
-
Set the valves in Cleaning Agitation System position mode.
-
Start the pump and rinse the agitation system with 10 L | 2.6 US gal of water per zone.
-
Stop the pump.
-
Set the valves in Cleaning Mixture Tank position mode.
-
Start the pump and fill the spray mixture tank with an additional 30 L | 7.9 US gal of water.
INFORMATION
Detergent can be added for cleaning the fluid circuit. Follow the manufacturer's recommended dosages.
-
Stop the pump.
-
Set the valves in Spraying position mode.
-
On the app, activate Flushing mode and spray until the pump is de-primed.
-
Restart at point 8 with 40 L | 10 US gal of water and then 30 L | 8 US gal of water.
-
Remove and clean the suction filter and the section filter (Cleaning).
-
Check the nozzles (Nozzle check).
Cleaning in the field
INFORMATION
We strongly advise against cleaning the machine in the field. This procedure requires a considerable amount of time and water. It is advisable to clean the machine in a sealed area.
The machine is cleaned in 4 dilutions, with the following volumes of rinse water:
-
Calculate residual volume:
-
Vres = dead volume (5 L | 1.3 US gal) + tank bottom volume
-
Rinse water volume 1 = Vwater_1 = Vres × 5
-
Rinse water volume 2 = Vwater_2 = Vres × 4 (+ detergent)
-
Rinse water volume 3 = Vwater_3 = Vres × 3
-
Rinse water volume 4 = Vwater_4 = Vres × 3
-
-
Make sure the pump is turned off.
-
Position the valves in Cleaning Mixer position mode.
-
Open the L1 lever of the induction hopper.
-
Start the pump and fill the spray mixture tank with 10 % of Vwater_1 (10 L | 2.2 US gal minimum).
-
Stop the pump.
-
Set the valves in Cleaning Agitation System position mode.
-
Start the pump and fill the spray mixture tank with 10% of V_water, alternating between HIGH + LOW zone and LOW zone of the agitation system.
-
Stop the pump.
-
Set the valves in Cleaning Mixture Tank position mode.
-
Start the pump and fill the spray mixture tank with the remaining V_water_1.
-
Stop the pump.
-
Set the valves in Spraying position mode.
-
Start the pump.
-
Let it run for 10 minutes.
-
On the app, activate Flushing mode and spray the diluted spray mixture while driving at least 8 km/h over an untreated area until the pressure drops.
-
Deactivate Flushing mode.
-
Repeat operations 2 to 16 with Vwater_2, adding detergent.
Follow the manufacturer's recommended dosages.
-
Repeat operations 2 to 16 with Vwater_3.
-
Repeat operations 2 to 16 with Vwater_4.
-
Stop the pump.
-
Remove and clean the suction filter and the section filter (Cleaning).
-
Check the nozzles (Nozzle check).
